Chester County, PA, Walnut Queen Anne Tall Chest, On a trifid foot frame base, having three over two over four graduated drawers, original brasses and old refinished condition, the original frame consists of two front to back slats with wooden nuts and bolts attaching it to the underside of the chest, each leg is then attached to the slat, the front legs are cabriole with “C” scroll returns and bell flower and vine carved knees ending in bold trifid feet, the back legs are a thin version of the front legs, 62 ½” x 38” case width. Provenance: Descended in a NH family whose heritage comes from Pennsylvania.
