Civil War "Kepi" with Provenance, This cap is in poor condition and appears to be missing the front brim, it does have the brass and Third Regiment of Mass. Infantry insignia still attached to the top, also comes with the 1863 medical discharge certificate of William W. Hood, this has descended in the Hood family until now. Approximately 9" long laying flat down.
