Two 20thC Native American Beaded Friendship Bags with Mirror, A rectangle cloth bag with full beaded front featuring a bald eagle in flight and two arrow heads below. A mix of transparent and opaque beads, the back is felt with applied leaf decoration. The bag back shows excessive staining and some damage. The interior is made with two cotton quilting fabrics and any strap or handle is now missing, 8 1/2" x 10". The second bag is a made from a canvas material with a plain back and fully beaded front featuring a red rose with pink outline on a turquoise ground with orange beaded outline. There are two hide handles still attached. Inside the bag is a worn hand held mirror with old black paint and the back of the mirror decorated with an applied bead design, the handle of the mirror has a hide dangle with three beads attached. The mirror shows some age and loss to the silver backing but no structural cracks. The bag measures approximately 11" x 9" not including the handles.
