Ziegenhan & Sohn (Zi-Di) Very Nice Bolt Action .22 Hornet Rifle (5.6x35mm) with A. Jacken Kroll Scope in Claw Mounts, This is a classic high quality German sporting rifle manufactured between World Wars I and 2. It has a 22 inch barrel with a rear open sight and a ramp front sight with a post and bead. The bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. There is a A. Jacken Kroll scope with a German reticle mounted on the receiver in claw mounts. Detachable box magazine that holds 4 rounds. The rifle appears to have seen little use. The barrel and receiver blue is in about 95% condition with just some minor thinning and no scratches or dings. The scope does have some wear spots but the optics are perfect. German reticle. The double set triggers ensure pinpoint accuracy. The stock is of the classic European design with a raised cheek piece and a checkered wrist and forend. The checkering is perfect and there are no scratches, dings or dents of note anywhere on the wood. A cute little varmeteer with typical pre-war German quality.
