Pre-World War II Greifelt 20 Gauge Over/Under Shotgun with Two Stocks, Another example of a magnificent condition shotgun that you would be proud to own! This one's a 20 gauge weighing just 5.6 pounds. It has 26 inch barrels with brilliant bores, a solid rib, a Kirsten crossbolt and automatic ejectors. 2 3/4 inch chambers. The scalloped receiver is engraved with the fine game scenes and rose and scroll engraving one would expect of a Greifelt of this era. The gun comes with two stocks. The original stock, included in the sale, had extreme cast on. Accordingly, a new owner had it restocked with a straight English grip with a spectacular piece of Turkish walnut of highest quality. He also had a Miller single selective trigger installed at the same time, The barrel blue is just about perfect. The 3-piece forend and stock show a few extremely light scratches from being in the field but not through the finish. Silver oval inlet at belly of stock. The length of pull is 13 3/4". The drop at heel is 2 inches. The drop at comb is 1 inch.
