Greifelt Over/Under Scalloped Action 12 Gauge with Exquisite Wood, Extra fine and highly engraved. This beauty, serial number 31511, looks brand new. The wood has vivid black stripes contrasting boldly with a honey-colored background. Not a scratch or a ding to be seen anywhere. The receiver is profusely engraved with flowers and scroll with scenes of flighting waterfowl on both right and left sides of the action. The 28 inch barrels have a 3 piece forend with immaculate bores and perfect blue. Solid rib with a mid and front ivory bead. Chamber length is 2 3/4 inches and the chokes are full and modified. The front trigger is articulated and there is a gold oval inset just to the rear of the rounded pistol grip. Automatic ejectors and Kirsten cross bolt. Probably made in the 1930s. Length of pull is: 14 1/4 inches. Drop at comb is 1 1/4 inches. Drop at heel is 2 3/8 inches. Weight: 6.8 pounds. An about new example of Germany's best.
