J.E. Caldwell & Co., French Bronze and Marble Mantel Clock, The top section is a painted bronze figure of a smiling woman attached to a marble base signed "V. Bruynecop, Paris", this rests into a brass conforming holder on top of a shaped and stepped base with ormolu mounts and scrolled feet, the front section of which contains a round hand painted porcelain dial, time and strike eight day movement, signed "JE Caldwell, Philadelphia, Made in France", 15 1/4" (toe to toe) x 8" deep x 22 3/4" tall overall, missing minute hand, #8518-2, light usage wear.
