Presentation English Coin Silver Tea Set and Oval Tray, All four pieces are marked solid silver with a total weight of approx. 60 troy oz (including wooden handle on teapot), makers mark "HM" on tray, the oval tray with handles is engraved "Presented to Consul and Ms. W.D. Gordon by American residents of Johannesburg & District 22 Feb 1901", the teapot, sugar and creamer are of an earlier period and marked "J.H & JTM". All with initials "WDG".
