Lot of Eleven Trobriand Islands, Papua, New Guinea Pieces, To include Missim made: A) Three carved and turned lim mortors one with face carvings and two pestles from 5 1/2" to 8 3/4" in length. B) Six carved spatulas, two with small mother of pearl inlay, one pierce carved with bird end, 13 1/2" long spatula with fine carvings on both sides and handle, all in good condition, 20thC. All from the same collection as #135 etc and exhibited in Amherst.
