William Preston Phelps, NH (1848-1923), Oil on canvas painting of "Mount Monadnock from Monadnock Lake" as noted on frame reverse in pencil, 18" x 30 1/2", set in an old gold frame possibly original, signed lower right "W.P. Phelps", small tear/hole in the center of the water, noted on back "Mildred from Aunt Ag.... 1932". Provenance: Old local NH family.
