Richard Manning, 1752 Red Painted Tall Clock, The works have been replaced with a brass chain driven time and strike movement but the dial is original and sign, the arch above the face "Richard Manning, 1752", American clockmaker working in the coastal, Mass. area in the mid 18thC, the early cotter pin hinged case has a good old red painted surface and is in good condition, descended in a Hancock, NH family then to a Peterborough, NH collector until now, 18" wide x 10 1/2" deep x 6' 6 1/2" tall.
