18th/19thC Persian/Indian Silver Belt with Russian History, Made in ten sections of silver which are held together with a leather belt backing which allows it to be flexible, each section decorated on the outside surface with engraved floral designs with blackened highlights, 27 1/2" long overall, probably fits slightly smaller waist because of clasp overlap. Family Provenance: Once donned by Russian dive "Maria Jeritza" a birthday present in 1994.
