Pair of New England Queen Anne Side Chairs, Mahogany primary wood with poplar wood seat frames, turned stiles down to a trapezoid slip seat frame, cabriole front legs to pad feet with block on block "H" form stretchers, old refinished condition with a few minor repairs, to our knowledge this form of splat is only known on Rhode Island chairs which account for the poplar wood seat frame.
