Burmese Sapphire Period Art Deco Platinum and Diamond Ring, Unmarked platinum setting with stepped baguette diamond sides holds approx 19-20ct Burmese sapphire in octagonal cut measuring 16.74 mm x 14.33 mm x 8.80 mm, the Burmese sapphire has been recently evaluated by the GIA stating no indications of heating and country of origin as Burma (Myanmar), the stone shows several minor edge chips commensurate with age as reported by the consignor, this is part of an estate collection purchased in the 1920s and 1930s in France and Shanghai.
