Important "Tlingit" Large Potluck Spoon, This 37" long wooden spoon has a handle made in the form of a man with arms crossing his body, real human hair on his head and open mouth, supported by his legs straddling the handle to the spoon bowl, the man is 20 1/2" tall with remains of an old red paint on his neck chest/body, old color throughout, strong shaping tool marks, edge wear and small scratches, appears to be 19thC.
