Great Paint Decorated Northwest Coast "Haida" Carved Head, 4" tall x 5 1/2" wide, painted and carved face/head with real hair on the forehead top edge, strong colors of blue, red and black highlight open mouth expression, the back edge has a finger like piece which is unpainted and appears to be a means of securing it to a feast bowl of another ceremonial object, 19thC or very early 20thC, in very good condition.
