15 1/2" and 10" HC French Bisque Pressed Socket Head Jules Steiner Doll, Marked Ste E (size) 1. She has inset threaded blue glass eyes, mauve blush over her eyes, pierced ears, feathered brows, and an open/closed mouth with heart shape upper and lower lips. This doll has an 8 ball wood and composition straight wrist body, appears unmarked (clothing is tightly sewed to body). The doll retains her original Steiner cardboard pate and remnants of the original wig with mohair wig added. Her bisque has a few firing specks and cheek rubs with paint loss on body from play, age and storage. She is wearing a two piece blue wool and silk outfit tightly sewed to her arms.
