9 1/2" German China Figure, With jointed arms in a ballet position of "en pointe" with leg extended in back. (Sometimes seen dressed as a bathing beauty) she has painted features, molded painted curls, a molded painted gold color band in her hair, with painted pink laced "slippers." Her right toe has a hole to accept a wire that would sit on a base and hold the figure upright. The stand is missing. This figure has an approximate 1 1/2" glaze hairline crack on her upper left front thigh, unmarked, she is attributed to Dressel and Kister. Circa 1900, arms are loosely strung.
