12" Bisque Swivel Head French Fashion Doll, Bisque is unmarked, paper label affixed to leather body "Jouets Simonne Au Passage Delorme Nos1a 15 188 Rue de Rivoli, 188". The pate is firmly attached to the head. She retains the original dark blonde long curl mohair wig and has inset blue glass eyes with a sweet expression, ears pierced into the head, and delicate coloring. Her leather body is gusseted at the hips. The clothing is nicely made, appears original and has the usual wear from age and storage, C1860s.
