17" German Character Doll Marked 140 (size) 4, Bisque socket head on a wood and composition ball jointed body. She has painted blue gray eyes, open/closed mouth and blonde mohair wig. Hertel and Schwab Company C1912 era. She wears an adorable sailor outfit with leather boots and retains 1st place ribbon from Shaker Doll Club Regional 1997.
