Lot 254: Lot of Two Dolls

Lot of Two Dolls, A) 11 1/2" Papier Mache So-Called Milliners model doll, with painted brown eyes, molded painted coiled top knot and curls over ears, closed mouth and (dirty) white leather body with wooden lower arms and legs with carved painted yellow shoes. Doll has had re-paint to her head and yellow silk dress is shattered. There is crazing to surface paint. B) 2 3/4" handmade "Make-do" "China Doll", made from an antique china boy doll head that was broken at the neck with hand carved wooden legs, and cloth wrapped arms, attached by a cloth hand sewn shirt. Cute!
