Paper Fashion Doll Set "La Toilette", Boxed set of 2 paper dolls with 12 dresses and 9 hats total. Marketed by Henry Rousseau, between 1845-1868 era. The box measures 17 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 2 1/4". The colorful paper lithograph cover has foxing and darkening of color from age. The doll have rough edges, one has a repair on her hairdo and neck repairs. There is dust, bends and fading to some of the paper and hats from play, age and storage. The mirror is cloudy from age. The inside cover print has vivid colors. No bad odor.
