17" So Called Milliners Model, Papier mache shoulder head, leather body, wooden lower arms and legs with painted blue shoes. This doll has painted brown eyes, molded curls in front of molded ears and a coiled braided bun in back. There is cracking and a "v' shape piece of papier mache missing on her shoulder plate in front. There is wear to paint from age and storage, C1830s era. Her clothes include cotton undergarments and fine wool paisley dress.
