Lot of William Preston Phelps Glass Plate Negatives Archive of Paintings, 27 "Stanley Dry Plate" 5" x 8" negatives of individual paintings done by W.P. Phelps, many of them have visible signature in the painting featured in the negative. Provenance: Collection of Eddie Clark, W.P. Phelps family-pencil inscription on the outside of negative boxes, "W.P. Phelps paintings 97,99". "Paintings Model Nude". Also included is a copy of the W.P. Phelps estate auction catalog for which the half tone plates were made to illustrate the catalog (see page 7), this auction included not only his remaining paintings but the Phelps homestead and contents in Chesham, NH comes with a book "One Branch of Edward Phelps Descendants" by John Edward Phelps.
