Nantucket Basket Purse by "DO Hoyt", Unusual small size 7" wide x 4 3/4" tall in the oval size with a swing handle, whale ivory seagull set on a brown grained oval attached to both sides of the top, ivory hinge posts for the handle and fid shaped clasp, signed on the rosewood bottom "D.O. Hoyt #832", 20thC, excellent condition.
