Enfield SMLE No. 1 Mk III* Infantry Rifle Serial Number Q5014. Built in England in 1916 and armory refitted at a later date. Caliber: .303. 25†barrel. Another of the primary rifles used in World War II by Great Britain and her Commonwealth Nations. It is still in use today in some of them. Bright, shiny bore with strong rifling. Graduated long range rear sight. Wood good with some handling marks. Military metal finish about 75%. Rifle and bolt serial numbers match. Comes with correct sling. Also, with an excellent Model 1907 bayonet and scabbard made in February of 1918 by Sanderson bearing the British Broad Arrow property mark plus regimental markings. Wood grip is stamped “Australiaâ€. Bayonet and scabbard are in almost new condition.
