Excellent Enfield Rifle No. 5 Mk. 1 Jungle Carbine With Bayonet. Serial number: Z5374. Made at the Fazakerley Armory in England in February of 1947. Caliber: .303. Appears to be in practically unissued condition. 20†barrel with flash suppressor and bayonet lug. Bolt, magazine and stock all match serial number of gun. Stock has just a couple of slight handling marks and about all original finish. Stock end has a metal cap. These guns usually have a wood end but this cap definitely a correct variation. Black military metal finish is about 95% with no particular areas of wear. Bore appears to be filled with lubricating grease. Used by paratroopers and jungle troops. Comes with correct sling and bayonet with scabbard
