Butternut Shaker Sewing Box with Fifteen Painted Spools, The dovetailed box 13" wide x 7 1/2" x 6" tall opens to reveal a tray with nine sewing items when lifted out gives access to fifteen painted spools set on metal spikes, old working key, old varnish finish with minor edge wear, the spools are of two different sizes, (5) 1 7/8" and (10) 2 3/16".
Upon examination under a black light, at least 3, possibly 5 of the spools appear to have been repainted.
