"Memphis Belle" Iron Trade Sign, Double sided and designed to hang from the top edge, back side has a painted paddle wheel sailing down the river, 48" tall x 34" wide, in good condition except the hanger brackets have been moved with a few areas of wear, there are two possibilities as where this came from, A) There was a paddle wheel boat featured in the 1950's John Wayne movie. B) A restaurant bar in New Orleans. Probably mid 20thC, remains of an old varnish finish over the paint.
