Violin Signed "Sextus Rocchi, Regiensis, Fecit 1957", signed by the maker on the label, the back is carved from one piece of maple with attractive even flames horizontally, the ribs are of moderately flamed maple, the top is formed from two pieces of spruce with even fine growth, the neck and scroll are carved from maple with moderate medium flames and the varnish is a shimmering orange on a yellow ground, UB: 16.7, CB: 11.5, LB: 20.7, LOB: 35.4.
