Maori Style Carved Wooden Feather Valuable Box, having two looped handles to hang at each end and fitted plain lid, the sides and back with tiki stylized and swirl carvings, 16 1/8" l x 3 1/2"w x 2 3/4"d, good old finish, L19thC, age cracks and edge chipping to lid. This was probably done by master carver James Edward Little (1876-1953), English tribal art restorer.
