Lot 44: Chinese Nephrite Three Strand Carved Bracelet

Chinese Nephrite Three Strand Carved Bracelet, translucent white nephrite of uniform color carved into three cylindrical rods intertwined and completing six turns, smooth surface with low gloss polish, probably Qing Dynasty Period, approx. 3 1/8" outer diameter and 2 1/2" inner diameter, bracelets of this design were regarded with prestige not only for the wearer but for the intricate and fine craftsmanship. Provenance- New England collection, Shi Qun Sheng, Shanghai, People's Republic of China. Comparable examples include one sold at Sotheby�s Paris in 2013 and another featured in the Seattle Art Museum.
