Florence Jones Cousin, American (1893-1961) Primitive Painting of Mother and Son, titled "Courage and Confidence" featuring a seated mother holding a small boy at her side. The back of the paper reads "Motherhood in a portrayal of courage and confidence" the backing board is a printed poem which is signed -F.J.C. and is titled "To a Son" there are also pencil drawings of a flower bordering the poem. Framed in old gold frame measuring 9 1/2" x 11 2/8".
