Benjamin Stark Portrait, 19thC US Senator and Representative, according to family history this was painted by an unknown artist when he was about 19 years old after he graduated from the Union School in New London Conn. in 1835. Descended in the family until now and comes with photos, history and other papers.The painting has been lined with a new stretcher, 30" X 25" and has the original molded gold frame.
