Framed Collection of Ephemera, includes 1852 braided hair large cent, two miniature tin types, letter and envelope all mounted on reclaimed wood with old red paint. The correspondence is between Jaffrey, NH locals Isaac Jones Cutter and Rachel Shattuck. Isaac J. Cutter is a 1852 Dartmouth alumni who writes to his sister apologetically for not keeping better touch. In his letter he fondly recalls the local young women with whom he and his sister were acquainted and expresses a desire to visit his sister in Pepperal, Mass. Included is the envelope stamped "Hanover NH Apr 5" addressed to Mrs. Edmund P. Shattuck, Pepperall Mass. The tin types seem to be the liknesses of Isaac and his sister Rebecca. An interesting group of local ephemera decoratively framed, 13 1/4" x 16.
