Two delightful pieces made for Newbery Award winning author and Peterborough resident Elizabeth Yates McGreal, 1950's, by Tasha Tudor. A) Small illustrated note on card, with stamped and addressed envelope. Depicting a small girl standing on a stool, holding a card and a crow, colored, with delicated ink writing thanking Yates for an enjoyable visit. 3" x 4", folded card. B) Illustration on paper, depicting a boy and girl sitting back to back in the grass, the boy playing a recorder. "Happy Birthday to Elizabeth" written near bottom. Grey paper laid down on board, 7 1/2" x 8 1/4". Glued down, otherwise very good condition.
