This first edition comes with an inscription and signed by Georgia O'Keeffe in blue ink. The inscription reads, "For Doctor Connie Friess- a friend of many years, Georiga O'Keeffe-" Included with this is a provenance letter from the consignor explaining Constance Friess was his mother and O'Keeffe's New York City physician who after many years of medical visits in New York and in New Mexico became good friends with O'Keeffe.
