Lot 240B: Marlin Model 1893 Takedown s#D6929

Marlin Model 1893 Takedown s#D6929 with 20" round and half octagon barrel with a lightly pitted bore and strong rifling. This rifle has been reblued and roll marks are slightly worn. The magazine tube appears to have original finish with light wear marks to silver color. Rear sights appear to be aftermarket and front appears to be custom made. Wood stocks have been refinished and forend has a deep checkering pattern. The magazine tube appears to be from a longer barreled gun. The butt plate has been changed as well. Overall very good refinished rifle.
