Chinese Carving of the High Priest Daruma, white painted robed figure seated on a lift top box with gold leaf panels, appears to be early 19thC, surface losses, may have had a back held wreath, 23" tall X 13" X 18" boxed base, comes with 1959 receipt when it was purchased in Tokyo.
