A Fine and Rare Maori Nephrite Tiki. The figure characteristically carved but with unusual treatment of the face; the head held high and nearly straight, the arms each rounded and with hands resting on the hips, the fingers across the thighs. Fine old suspension hole at top drilled correctly; the reverse with a lovely surface. Fine old patina overall - a rare example of the type. 4 1/16" tall.
