Calvin Coolidge Glass Slide collection. Approximately 130 Magic Lantern Glass slides. Many seemingly by Alton H. Blackington, Boston Herald photographer, several bearing his name and logo. Coolidge is shown at home in Vermont, in Washington, on the campaign trail, with his wife Grace and children, and meeting dignitaries, including Charles Lindbergh, who Coolidge awarded the first Distinguished Flying Cross in 1927. Each approx 4"x3", together all in a period storage/carrying case.
