Two Inuit cribbage boards, Inuit; Alaska. The boards of classical tapering form, following the natural shape of the walrus tooth; the first a short example with cribbage board to the top and the bottom with wonderfully scrimmed seal rolling on ice while an Inuit hunter looks on from an Umiak; the second long and narrow with a map of St. Lawrence Island on the top with the cribbage holes, the sides with animal imagery. Fine and with lovely patina. L. 7 1/2" & 16 1/4"
