August Herman Knoop, German (1856-1918) attributed- oil on wooden panel depicting two gentlemen playing chess, unsigned, 7 1/2" X 5 7/8", ornate gold frame, noted on the back came from the MH De Young memorial Museum, San Francisco, originally donated to them in 1918.
