An unusual Karawari figure with large flattened face with deeply concave facial planes with eyes and nose emerging from breach, the body similarly composed with flat concave back with raised openwork 'anatomical' features, the whole with signs of erosion from exposure to the elements and having been left in a Rock-shelter. H. 54"
This unusual figure was found by John C. Edler in the karawari area and kept in his personal collection for many years. It is an unusual example from an outlying area.
