The matched pair of large size and executed in light wood, the male shorter than the female and with facial characteristics of the Kuba-Kete with huge conical eyes and large brow, the top of the head with device for attachment of feathers, the female with finely carved features and proportioned body; both with extensive remains of original pigments and in fine condition. rare and fine examples, especially to be found as a pair.
