Chinese 17thC Carved Box, a stepped rectangular lid with iron cotter pin hinges and loop handle over a mitered corner case with carved front and sides, original iron lock and key set on a replaced base, the interior with gold on red paint,the exterior with a later brown/green paint over the gold/red paint.
