Scrimshaw Decorated Tusk and Case, decorated and presented to "William McNeil on his retirement as captain of the ship two sisters from the crew, Peterhead Aug 1921" as engraved on the back of the cigarette case, the front of the case and the tusk have whaling scenes with ships, whales and crew. The case is 3 1/2"T x 6"W, the tooth 23 1/2"L, both are from Ivory.
