Chinese 17thC Carved Box, a stepped rectangular lid with wrought iron cotter pin hinges and loop handle over a mitered corner case with carved front and sides, original iron lock and key set on a replaced base, interior with gold on red paint, the exterior with a later brown/green paint over the gold/red paint. 8 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/2"T.
