African Kalahari Bushman Painting, gouache/natural pigment painting on shaved down hide, which has been mounted onto a later leather backing, 21"T x 44" L, unsigned or identified, appears to be 19thC or E20thC., cracking and some losses, depicts a primitively drawn Gnu with two younger ones near by, 21"T x 44 1/2"w. Prov: Recently found in the Lakes Region of NH.
