A lovely Mbunda female mask. Mbunda or Lovale, Zambia; H: 9". In the form of a lovely female, the face with high raised brow, narrow slit eyes, scarification to the cheeks, well carved nose and delicately carved mouth with teeth. The coif rendered as a double row of raised nubs behind two raised bands. Original fiber costume still attached and original coif of old string and palm fiber. On a custom base. Ex.
